Lycoming engine to rebuild options

Last major 2008
Time since major 3300
Still running on condition 50 hours inspection
Last 2 oil changes it was making metal that was picked up by the magnet, however the amount was small to enable running on 50 hour till the last change where we went to 25 hour oil change as per lycoming bulletin.
The engine runs very smoothly that most people ask if it was continental 0-300, lol. Compressions are mid 70, oil consumption is normal. After the last boroscope, I noticed some uneven burn in on the cyl #4 exhaust valve. Cyl 1 and 3 bottom plugs are getting bit wet.
Would you:
1: Fix one jug and keep going until it deteriorates more
2: kill the engine and replace with another serial number
3: overhaul the existing and keep the serial number
4: get a lycoming direct replacement engine, right now they have fantastic deals and covers the issues like the latest emergency AD on lycoming engines.
