...But perfectly legal. United's former CEO did a TV interview essentially blaming the passenger.
Now I know a LOT of airline crew in this industry are of the sit down shut up or we will bring out the taser's crowd, but I don't get this at all.

OK a bad situation but wtf -- it wasn't united employees that dragged the guy off. There is always 2 sides to a story but the passenger over reacted as well. The insanity of people traveling is outrageous. Why would you react to bring in John Law. Now you are really fucked. Play the system -- get an upgrade -- sit in the business lounge and eat and drink on their dime -- people are just fucking stupid -- no wonder I hate flying so much when I am forced to be a passenger -- road trips are much more comfortable and relaxing -- damn -- people need to get a grip. Tantrums are for 3 year olds -!!!!!!!
Oh I forgot --throw a tantrum and kick and scream because your flight got cancelled for bad wx -- yup -- it's all good --

Some working in this industry are really out of touch. Think how this looks. People on twitter are really pissed and the CEO is too arrogant to even apologize. He Messed up first, not the pax.
Does anyone ever think -- DUHHHHH! Maybe as the airline staff I could handle it better? Do I have beat the shit out of everyone who doesn't instantly obey? Grab a brain -- offer MORE money and get happy volunteers.
Guy was 69 years old, too. Sent to the hospital. Reaction: It's his own fault. Listen or get the shit beat out of you.
