I'm currently reading Tales of an Old Bold Pilot by Jack McCallum and it is quite a good read so far! Very easy reading and is more a collection of mini stories, nice to be able to put it away for a while and pick it up for a whole new story.

I just read about a new look at the Doolittle Raid. Probably worth a look.

Just spotted this on AvWeb
"NASA Offers Free Aviation eBooks"
https://www.avweb.com/avwebflash/news/N ... 517-1.html
I haven't dug in too deeply yet, but there looks like there's some pretty interesting stuff

Just a small correction.
Fate is the Hunter was written by Ernest K. Gann.

Really enjoying Robert Kiyosakis Fake
He's the Rich Dad Poor Dad author, you know the guy who actually speaks truth about the education system producing unthinking drones who don't have a clue about how money works.
But hey, work hard save for retirement.

Has Unbroken been mentioned. I never did see the movie but they just added it to Netflix. Reminded me of this topic. One of the few books recommend by my mom-in-law, I really enjoyed.

Not Aviation but just listened to the audiobook of David Goggins "Can't Hurt me"
I would highly recommend the audio book as between chapters its a sort of Podcast where he elaborates on the topic and what was going on with additional stories.
If you don't know David Goggins is a former Navy Seal, and for fun runs Ultra Marathons.
