IMHO German cars are vastly over-rated.
Over-complicated engineering, hideously
expensive, gruesome maintenance, unreliable.
I'd rather have major dental work with no
anaesthesia than own a german car. Less
painful, and certainly less expensive.
I bought this Honda new. Hit 7,000 RPM
in first gear, leaving the dealership. Never
did any maintenance.
Try that with an overpriced german junker.
That Honda now has 700,000 km, no rattles
and the air blows cold.
On the subject of breaking in an engine:
