Slick Goodlin wrote: Tue Jan 11, 2022 2:32 pm Well today I learned something. I would have thought the code would be all #2s but here we are.
That’s embarrassing. Not the performing of the actual procedure, but the fact that I forgot my much studied transponder codes and got #1 and #2 mixed up(I corrected the code). Obviously, it is all #2’s that initially go into the squawk box(and the F/O’s cap, of course). Butt keep in mind that the code can be changed to 1’s if the pilot in duress turns around.

Obviously , more supplemental procedure practice required. Anybody want to practice with me.

Don’t forget your pilot cap.

Maybe, is there anything in particular I should eat before we hit the sim? Probably avoid poultry, pork and eggs.

Thanks,

I appreciate you quick reply but three people volunteered ahead of you.

Maybe next time.

Well, that’s what tends to happen. At least I can get some eggs for breakky.

Have a good session.
