Scene: Lazy day at Downsview, no traffic, monitoring 126.18 listening to YYZ Twr
YYZ: BOAC ABCD cleared to land Rny 23
BoacABCD, Roger 3 in the green
YYZ TWR: Boac ABCD, how far back are you?
ABCD is 3 on final
BOAC ABCD, Downsview TWR,Pull up and go around, that is the Dehavilland factory taxiway that you are lined up with. At a safe altitude turn to a heading of 275* and you'll hopefully find Toronto Malton Airport.
Super Constellation after a long trip in severe clear VFR. He went by the tower so close that I could see the passengers looking out the windows
