Soon. You in?
Unfortunately I need to be employed in a left seat to make that a reality. Don’t worry, it’s not like I won’t enjoy myself in the meantime.

There are two leisure classes: at the very top and the very bottom of society.

One of them is a whole lot less work, than the other. Remember what Dickens said.

This is so true and I have always found it frustrating.... I have a brother, unemployed 85% of the time, smokes a shit ton of weed, doesn't do a dam thing and honestly struggles way less in life than I do. I feel like I'm always working or training or parenting or something. He's just chilling and living life....

Sometimes I wonder if I'm doing it right lol.

I remember Mike Judge - who bears an unnerving resemblance to Mark Knopfler
(I have a theory they are actually the same person) - was asked,

"When you were filming Idiocracy, were you aware that you were creating a future
documentary as well as a comedy?"

You must admit that yesterday's satire is today's headlines. Really. Often I can't
tell the difference between The Onion videos from 10 years ago, and what appears
today on the CBC and CNN. Again, the similarity is unnerving.

Anyways. Back to the F-104:

Do you got a link to this? If I can ever escape from work I might consider it, or try to combine it with work. Wonder if the boss would notice the charge on the company card....
The details of my life are quite inconsequential...

Put it under "Misc" on your expense report. Accounting will never notice it (ahem).

When I read size requirements, I was worried, but amazingly I fit within those. Except maybe chest? I think the last time I was fitted for a jacket it was 54? Now I got to go measure myself.

Huh, 54? Impressive.

My daughter just measured and my chest is 49”. I’m wearing jeans that are labeled 40”. So I should be good if I only drink water until I come down to the weight limit.

Except I need 1000 hours right?

Not unless you think you're going to get a -104 type rating after one flight.

Their LODA requires customers to be licensed pilots with medicals, and
am sure they will sign the flight in your logbook.
