I can still drive YYZ to YXL non stop
Long drive.  Couple years ago, drove
YOW to YQT in February in 16 hours,
no tickets.  Of course it was snowing
north of the Sault, until I turned the
corner.

Getting too old for that crap.

Speaking of long days what was your longest non stop flight?

Mine was 19 hours and ten minutes in 1968...three crew.

Didn't know that a Vickers Vimy had that sort of endurance! :P
~5.5 hours for me..

That flight was done in a PBY which can fly for twenty four hours non stop.

The oil capacity is one hundred gallons...fifty gallons per engine.

On long over ocean flights we used to get ferry flight permits for over gross takeoffs, on one flight out of Dakar Senegal Africa to Natal Brazil we were over four thousand pounds over gross weight.
