Ridicules. I was going to post that if they chipped in I would go keep you busy checking me out on the cub but figured they were too dumb to get the obvious joke.
Heh heh heh They're on to you. LOL
Wow! Just went over there to see who posted that craziness. Isn't the guy a four-bars for the national? Now, that's the kind of people we want ferrying our families around this great land.
Of course, he will say he wasn't being serious, but I wonder.... ::)

Interesting that someone can state the Colonel has a personality disorder on Avcanada and the mods ignore it.
Oh well someone else mentioned my name insinuating the Colonel and me are alike.
I take that as a big compliment in aviation.

It's funny to me that so many people think you two are mean.
Personally I have encountered enough out right bullies over there that I don't even bother looking at the place and I obviously have an addiction issue to forums.
I guess I don't whine enough or report them to the moderators so they can have the place to themselves.
I never had an issue with any moderators even when I probably posted a bit too much volume of borderline "any conflicting traffic" like static.

Clearly someone has confused me with someone
that knows what the hell they are doing ;D

Me too. I am the first to admit that I have far more
interest in promoting safety and knowledge, than
I have interest in massaging people's delicate egos.
The ironic thing is that I suspect I put far more into
aviation than any of my detractors with the bruised
egos.
I spend an awful lot of time at the airport, fixing and
flying airplanes, and teaching other people how to fix
and fly airplanes.
I spend thousands of dollars, travelling to other regions,
keeping my class 1 and class 1 aerobatic instructor ratings
current, so I can help people with the paper and create
new, competent flight instructors.
I do a lot of really weird flight instruction that no one
else will touch.
I spend an awful lot of time moving snow and cutting
grass at the airport, pro bono.
I keep my name on the staff list (instructor, alt PRM)
for our FTU at our airport. Ab initio is important.
A Vintage Wings pilot told me that there would be a
lot more crashed airplanes around here if I hadn't
provided the training.
The fact is that my detractors don't put even 1%
back into aviation, that I do.
A wingwalker friend of mine told one of my detractors,
"He's all about aviation" and that's good enough for
me. Hell, they can put it on my tombstone.

Indeed I am -- life is an adventure -- sometimes I miss 350 but it's like old pilots who were never smart enough to do it as a hobby end up back at their grass roots -- lets me enjoy time by the lake on my time off and gives me a little extra cash for toys and projects -- some one asked me when I was going to retire and I answered it's all about the math and the unknown number -- my mother is still here at 97 -- lol
