I run mineral oil ONLY in my engines due to the fact that they are not daily runners . Mineral protects the engine internals BETTER than detergent oil
Mineral oil is NOT for breaking in an engine only !!!!! That is a myth
Anyone that tries to tell me that better be able to explain how engines ran perfectly well before Detergent oils came along.

Do you run 100LL?  Does mineral oil leave more lead
deposits than detergent oil?

Remember the infamous Mobil AV-1 full-synthetic fiasco
which left enough lead behind to plug up oil passages.

Yeah, we did for decades.  It was nerve-wracking when
detergent (er, [i]dispersant[/i]) aviation oils came out and
people starting switching from mineral to dispersant -
we didn't know what was going to come loose.
