This is exactly why you need to get me some form of AME lackey, general chef, sweep up, or barista sort of job there.

It would be worth paying me just to be on stand by ready for asking these guys the important questions, "Montana tomorrow huh? Why? Oh, I see. So, what's the penalty for not making it? Do you have the winterization kit installed? Are you not worried about cracking a cylinder or something?..."
the weather is frigid, around -25
WTF?!  I rode the motorcycle to work today.  Some
sun, some cloud, high in the low 60's.  Enjoyed the
tangy smell of the salty ocean on the ride home.

Flying this weekend.  No preheat required.

reminds me of the guy trying to preheat a Navajo at -30 in Thompson. Me and my Cojo arrived to our PC-12 bundled up and plugged in, across the ramp was a Navajo with a pilot running around it keeping the Hermans going. I shook my head, glad im not that guy today. We checked over our bird took the covers off started up no worries and went flying for a few hours came back to the same guy and navajo still working at the Hermans hadn't gone anywhere he had been there 4 hours early to get his plane ready for departure.

Part of the problem people now do not actually know what a herman nelson is.

This is not a herman nelson -- this is a frost fighter and is as usless as tits on a bull in extreme cold

NOW! this is a herman and you can heat the world with it  ;D

I've always wanted to have a motorcycle I could do that on. I've always thought it would be awesome to have one of these.

Fun fact: that bike is actually a BMW. The Russians at the end of the war, decided that as part of their payment for their troubles that they took the whole damn factory. Been manufactured the same largely since then. I think they added electric start and signal lights. You can get chains for the tires!
