This morning. When was the last time you flew as the sole occupant of your aircraft?
Probably around half of my flights are sole occupant.
A depressingly high percentage of my flights are
dual given (tailwheel, aerobatic, instructor,
formation, jet, etc).
Gotta start cutting down on that. Getting old.
Time for some other (younger) people to do that.
It would be nice to get my solo flights over 90%.
-- EDIT --
Just did another (solo) flight this afternoon. Did
four circuits in 0.5, 2 one-wheel, 1 wheel, 1 grass
(used half of 1200 foot strip, no brakes). Did them
at 500 feet - feel free to drop a dime to Enforcement
on me.
I'm a pretty crappy pilot compared to most people -
I like to fly twice a day, to stay sharp. Eight landings
today, solo.
On Saturday, did two joinups in a biplane on ex-mil
jet. You know, no overtake speed, all vertical. I'm
sure the four-bars could have done much better.
