I do not know why people treat aerobatics and surface aerobatics with such contempt.

Would you teach yourself do-it-yourself brain surgery on a whim?

I’m not saying acro is brain surgery but evidence would suggest that both can easily kill you.

PS I can teach anyone to safely roll anything in 90 seconds. I taught my 9 year old daughter how to roll an aircraft. She did it effortlessly.

I know that I am held in complete contempt by Canadians after 50 years of accident-free flying, and that’s ok.

But try to fly as well as a 9 year old girl, ok?

Here's a roll entered from the surface at 400 mph:

Easy as can be.

If one wishes to take themselves out of the gene pool I would prefer a less spectacular way of risking others who may want to continue to breathe.
