Video: Red Deer Forestry Airport

Friend of mine is looking at some property out near Sundre, we thought it was best to perform some reconnaissance.

Turns out a potential neighbor has an airstrip and hangar!


I noticed we were not too far to the Red Deer Forestry Airport CFR7 so we decided best to make sure the runway was still there.

Alberta is my favorite part of Canada. I'd love to retire there but it's too frikken cold in the winter.

My wife just got back from Jasper/Banff. I plan to do this when I am younger.

Neat flight! I think I've flown by there a hundred times and never landed, and this just reminds me to up t on my to do list. The river looks pretty much walking distance.
