CBC (Ottawa) - Today the Minister of Defense announced that Canada had purchased used aircraft carriers from Switzerland, which also operates ancient F-18 aircraft.
“We’re very excited!”, gushed a flustered Minister. “We got them for a fantastic price after the Swiss realized they didn’t have any ports to dock them at”
This purchase comes after a similar deal was recently reached with Australia, to pay millions of dollars for obsolete jets that no one wanted any more.
