For a week. After 3.5 years. Never thought I'd be able to visit Canada again.

Was expecting the worst with Customs, brought an old phone (and no laptop) in case his kids needed presents for Christmas.

Wx was nice and warm and sunny. I approve of your winters. Did some flying:

Looked at a jet-powered twin conversion for sale. Not sure if birds in the tail cost extra

Went for dinner at step-daughter's. Admired their very large Great Dane with a weird paint job

He's so big, he walks up to the dining room table and lowers his head onto it, to rest. Never seen a dog do that before.

Awesome Colonel.

Give it time. I’m sure comradeJustin will find a way to tax you for your visit.

Did you guys fly (one of your airplanes) from California?

Wish I had the time! No, we took a tube. Kids did good on the gusty crosswind landings at YYZ and YOW.

Back in the desert southwest, doing this on our holiday week (Thanksgiving):

Being Canadian is great. It's like being a divorced kid with two Christmases. I get to take two Thanksgivings,
two Independence Days, two holidays in May. Don't want to be disrespectful, ya know.
