Ever dropped a bike?

I used to ride, and when I was riding I swapped tall tales with lots of other riders, and the one thing we all had in common was this.... every single one of us could remember dropping a bike one way or another. I have never met a rider who hasn't laid one down at least once.

'Fess up, Colonel, you know you've done it...  ^-^ ^-^

So far I am fortunate enough to have not harmed any street bikes. Of course my last car incident was beyond my capacity to avoid. It was probably better because I know I could have made it worse by braking or otherwise trying to alter the event. I have crashed plenty on dirt bikes though.

Dirt bikes count. There are plenty of wizened old aviators around who can proudly declare they've never bent anything, but nobody who rides two-wheelers can make that statement without arousing mucho suspicion. Bikes do humble even the very best of us.  ;D
