No issues there but what we did on truly short strips was touch down short, before the threshold if possible. The DAK would handle just about anything up to deep grass, tag alders and ruts. Green stains to the prop hubs were a common sight. :mrgreen: Not sure if I would cut alders with the turbine DC-3, props are just not as beefy.

The DC3 was arguably the best airplane ever built, it is big J3 Cub and is amazing for off airport operations I can't think of a better all around airplane .
