I like the 310 but I think if I go Cessna it would be for a 340. The pressurized cabin is easier than snaking a tube up the kids noses. But hey it’s fun to spend money I don’t have yet.

Many years ago, I used to fly a Cessna 310B (tuna tanks) a little. It was a nice airplane.

The owner is dead now, of course.

The 300/400 series Cessnas are actually remarkable airplanes.

Good points for sure. Speaking of the Cherokee six, I hear I can load up both canines, a tent, food and all my fishing gear.

I have 686.6 hours in the big 6 flying out of Juneau.

This whale bone was certainly unique. That whole summer was unique come to think about it. A lot of good memories.

I liked calling the outfitter in Dry Bay for a weather report.

“The guys from yakutat have been in and out a few times”

Uh Pat that don’t tell me shit look toward the big mountains how far can you see?

“Oh fuck Neil the mountains look like shit!”

Ok thanks won’t try today but Call me if it picks up.

For 5gph more, you can get 40ktas more out of a 310q.

200ish more useful from the 310...

My buddy really wants to spend my money and go in on a 310Q. They certain are a sexy looking aircraft.
How does a 337 compare to a 310 maintenance wise?

Fuel and speed wise, a P337 at 20 000 ft should be somehwat similar to a 310Q at 10000 ft, no?

From a maintenance standpoint, the twin without turbos and pressurization
is going to be a lot simpler and cheaper ....

But remember my favourite piston twin is a C421, which is geared, turboed
and pressurized!!
