Was thinking about my first year flying a water bomber in Yellowknife last night, it was in 1972 and I was fortunate to have never had to fly as a F.O. because Bob Murdock dragged me out of the job I was doing to fly his new machine so I never flew as a F.O.

It was an interesting job and I stayed at it for fifteen seasons.

But like most everything I finally got tired of it and moved on to other kinds of flying.
