Seriously though an experienced northern bush pilot gave me some great advice before I went north.

"practice flying low on nice days, because your going to need to be comfortable with it one day to save your ass"

Rule number one in tactical flying: All roads have wires.

Wires always win. The unicorn wire strike kits we have work about as good as prison scissors.

(The joke is that they don’t give scissors to prisoners... get it...?)
