Purchase agreement complete.
Only thing left is the pre-buy inspection, which after just coming out of an annual and a crankshaft replacement (prop strike, tear down after a prop strike, 0 SOH prop and hub) I don’t expect any surprises.
Firewall and right side skin was replaced too.
Expanding the fleet.

Why? That panel looks pretty good to me.

I bought this as club aircraft. A few other 4 bars. Get them their skills back.
In due time I’ll add a garmin GPS which will context to a glass of some sort. Maybe G5’s.
Next would be paint.
Both projects are around $15k+, and I’d have to make sure the club is viable, and making money before I put more capital in to it. In the mean time, another plane to fly to Oshkosh and camp with!

Very nice! Glad to hear you didn't get rid of the 180 ^-^
I have two very different favorite Cessnas:
1) Citation X (duh)
2) C-185 with G530 & kevlar O2 tank and turbo-normalizer
While (1) is sexy on the ramp and actually supersonic,
(2) could land anywhere and fly 15-17k like the 421 which
is probably my 3rd favorite Cessna, thinking about it. Marvellous
airplane.

This is the old firewall:
It didn’t buff right out, so in went a new one.

Or you could have a panel like this....
http://www.chiefaircraft.com/avionics-upgrades
No reason not to have a moving map display and traffic and weather information readily available.
