I'd get a minivan if I could get a shaker hood scoop and a
screaming chicken decal.

I have to confess I like the new Challenger better. One of 3 Chrysler products I would like to own.

I hope someone told the guy in front of the firebird he has a burned out brake light.

I have rented Challenger R/T's twice.  I highly recommend them!

Back tires don't last very long, is my only comment.  Mine didn't
even last a week.

My last rental muscle car was a Mustang GT. It had a built in digital line lock, which worked magnificently.

My problem is I rent cars in places where I'd much rather get a convertible and the Challenger offers no drop top option.  Don't know why not, it seems to me if Chrysler did it and rebadged (and re-grilled) it as a Cuda they'd have a license to print money on their hands.

But a 'cuda convertible would be very nice.

The rental posts have my attention.

Digital line lock sounds wonderful.

Where do you rent Challenger R/Ts. We did not have challengers at enterprise. Do you just return it with bald tires? We're the cords showing? Did you do any dry pavement doughnuts?

You need a Mustang GT to get it (they also come with all sorts of track apps. 0-60, lap timers, etc). I have a video but it’s easier to just search “Mustang GT line lock” on YouTube.

Basically you turn all the gizmos to track, go into the menu, turn on line lock, mash the brake pedal and hit okay. The car uses the ABS to lock in the pressure to the front brakes and you are free to get off the brakes and onto the gas. Hit okay on the menu again and you have 15 seconds to boil the tires off. And 420 HP for 15 seconds will make a hell of a lot of smoke.
