Speaking of motorcycles.  I've spent a lot of time flying,
and these days I spend a lot of time - about 5 hours a
week - on the motorcycle.

There's just something magical about banking a motorcycle
to turn - just like an airplane.  Ball in the center, forces
directly down, tires scrubbed smooth.

I never tire of either flying or riding.

While I am glad and feel fourtunate to have never bent a plane. I would not hold an accident against a pilot. Assuming it was not intentional, that's why it's called an accident.

I would certainly quietly avoid a person that talks about doing or does reckless things, even if they were lucky enough to never have an incident.

Back at the old place, sometimes it sounds like some of those guys think just getting in a plane is reckless, "You did what?" Followed by several pages of accusations...
Kind of like flying, I have been neglecting my poor bike but.. Yes, "something magical" I also like, that saying, "If I have to explain, you won't understand."

I think if you ride a motorcycle or fly a plane, you will either love it, or forever be left wondering what you are missing.
Oh and you didnt answer my question, does crashing 3 aircraft make you a better pilot than someone that has not crashed any aircraft?
Sorry missed that one. No it doesn't. It also doesn't automatically make you a worse one either, as per your assumption.

I wonder what the insurance company would say..

How much money in damages have you caused?

I guess you could also ask which pilot a company would hire to fly.

[a ] pilot who hit a frost heave at night
[b ] pilot who intentionally rolled a skymaster
[c ] pilot who intentionally tried to enter a spin in a plane prohibited from spinning
[d ] pilot who deliberately flew over gross
[e ] pilot who flew an airshow in IMC

(All completely hypothetical :)

I think most companies would prefer to hire a safe pilot who has accidents that aren't their fault rather than a dangerous pilot who has had no accidents.

Nope. At least, not all of them.

Not really, just the stuff you've publically posted.

Nope, just incredulous about why someone like you would spend so much effort on trolling.

I asked you if you are saying I am a dangerous pilot..

Answering with "Are you?"  seems rather deflective

And you still haven't answered my other question

Are you a pilot?  Yes or no

Thx

Yes, I'm a pilot. You've admitted to doing some dumb things in the past, so it's hard to judge whether or not you're a dangerous pilot right now as I don't know you. I get the impression that you think you're perfect and everyone else is a crap pilot, but that might just be your internet persona.
