Two types of people in the world.

Those who do nothing but criticize, and those who go out and do something worthwhile.

The first group are pure losers in my book. Always, forever.

As an ambassador to GA, flight chops is fine with me. Need more of that.

Like being up 66% in one year?  Financially you're
much smarter than I am, which is why you are flying
a very expensive business jet instead of a shitty old
used Cessna, right?

Are you talking about the African Pilot Bush Heroes that
wreck a 172 when they try to land in a crosswind?  You know,
the ones that you tear me a new asshole for not being as
good a pilot as they are?

I supposed it's good for AME's and aircraft manufacturers.

Does criticizing the Colonel counts?

[move]ZINGG![/move]

I don't subscribe to non-binary gender magazine but I also can't understand how anyone could try to limit people to only two types, especially in here.
They's those pilots that have had a crayon stuck up their nose. And pilots that have not had a crayon stuck up their nose.... yet.
I would suggest the colonel and Shteevie are each very different and definately one offs.

I have defended both in the past and probably will in the future. While I would prefer a few folks such as highflierchick could be brave and post here, I understand why they don't.

I most definately don't condone making them, or anyone feel bad. Not even if they "deserve" it.

As for the flight chops Pitts video. I have to fess up, that makes me cringe. Maybe he should have just quietly did that without cameras. Stick to, "Oh ehm gee, I'm in a 172 and this girl is peeing a bit because of traffic!" However..

~sigh~

I guess if you are going to have people toss coins in your electronic busking hat (patreon) so you can afford Pitts dual. You have to play your Freebird cover on the kazoo.

It's interesting those that criticize the whole world are the most thinned skinned, isn't it? Just saying guys......

Nah.  Just the shitty pilots.  I guess if you're in
Toronto, that looks like the whole world.

When was the last time I criticized:

Bob Hoover?
Melissa Andrzejewski?
Rob Holland?
Gary Ward?
Skip Stewart?
Matt Younkin?
Sammy Mason?

The list goes on, and on.  I know you financial
people struggle with recognizing patterns, but
they are all fucking superb pilots.

For contrast, look at this video instead of the
Porkchops nausea-inducing drivel:

See the difference quality makes?

Feel free to tear me a new asshole because quality
is important to me.

And Jesus, I get your rhetoric that I am a BAD PERSON
and a BAD CANADIAN because I am not sufficiently
egalitarian for contemporary liberal, politically-correct
Toronto tastes.

Breaks my fucking heart.

Rookie..

You seem to be incorrect...    I have done lots of criticizing, and believe it or not, done lots of things worthwhile.

question for you... would you rather lend your airplane to the colonel, or to pork chops?

Strega,

There is a lot more to great -- and safe --  flying than being a great stick. Who would I send my family up with, is the question. Probably neither, is my honest answer, but for very different reasons.

FC's:  relative inexperience (it would appear). But good for interest in GA

CS:  I would'nt send my family up with anyone who has a neurotic need to prove themselves.  Defined by their flying and how could cool they are.  How sad.

Videos are cool, and I have no doubt many like  CS are far better and cooler  sticks than I'll ever be. Just isn't my measuring stick for flying, or for life, either. I'm cool with never being known as a great stick.

I'll leave it at that to continue exchanging cool videos.

Personally as I've stated, I have friends doing far cooler (and more meaningful) flying, but that's my opinion.

They - FWIW ... neither have any need to prove themselves, nor are defined by their flying ability. You do that ....it's all you have and all you are. Again, how sad.

Have fun flying your new business jet!

Is that Toronto-speak for flying Bill and Hillary
to their $400k speaking engagements?  Do
Al Gore and David Suzuki purchase carbon
credit offsets for them as a tax-deductible
donation?
