Reading lots about the pilot shortage on the fixed wing side of things but have not heard much about your side of the business.
Is it as bad as the fixed wing side finding experienced pilots ?
How’s the Helicopter Pilot Market ?

It’s worse.
I know a fair number of pilots coming from rotary-wing industry to airline.
Speaking with them it’s a pretty huge brain drain. Not just pilots, but mechanics too.
Don’t get hurt to the point of needing a chopper to come and get you.

Interesting. They still letting tons of foreign chopper pilots in blocking any locals from getting a foothold.

It’s a disgusting trend that in reality is illegal. They are absolutely abusing the tfw program as well as the emergencies act for said pilots. They’re even bringing in techs now as well!Scudrunner wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 5:55 amInteresting. They still letting tons of foreign chopper pilots in blocking any locals from getting a foothold.
