Jesus, there wasn’t a lot of time to slow down after that ejection, was there?

Some sources are reporting a female officer passed away, and a second person is in serious or critical condition.

That's a Kobiyashi Maru scenario right there.

Engine goes bang low altitude on departure, not many options. looks like they they tried to turn back. too bad they where not on the right could have gone for the river not that its a better option.......

Too bad they didn't punch out after the pitch-up. Wings level, lots of altitude.

I'm not sure why they carry passengers in antique airshow jet aircraft.

I was reading YouTube comments and someone wrote there is a residential neighborhood the pilot might have been trying to turn away from.

I don't understand allowing buildings inline with runways. I guess this rarely happens.

Pretty tragic and if the life was lost because of a 50 year old ejection system it's time to walk away from the Tudor, I personally believe they need to move on and shit can those aircraft. To me the Snowbirds are like Tim Horton's in Canada, They are popular by tradition and really are long way past prime.

Don't worry, we can fix that.
