I hear ya L.C. ten years ago a battery powered lawn mower was still almost an experimental toy. They were just becoming viable.

I should probably get a roomba style robotic mower, I don't like grooming our dandelion patch.

I really enjoyed watching Ewan McGregor taking his Electric motorbike from the tip of south America to LA. in The Long Way Up. good series check it out on apple TV.

It will take time but I don't think its going to be revolution in aviation. Now my next SUV will probably be electric but ill keep my F150 for awhile yet.

Some guys have been using Zero motorcycle parts for electric ultralights. Used to be that Zero would sell you the parts you needed brand new but when they heard they were going into airplanes Zero got cold feet. Now the UL builders have to buy written off motorcycles to salvage what they need.
