It would be nice if we could label our actual endorsements instead of it going by post count. Something fun to indicate post count would be cool though.

Why not just leave it blank? Then people's opinions are judged by their supporting arguments, not by the weight of their reputation/rank/post count
I'd say people opinions don't mean jack squat if they don't have the credentials to back them up.
I'd say a large majority of us here know each other, either in person or by persona from AvCanada, however my memory is short.

My thought originally was I had posted too much and was labeled as "hero member." Um, seems silly that I would be a hero member for volume. Most of it was not great content. Mmmm hamburgers....
If we get it so you can put your ratings near your name it would obviously be voluntary and hopefully fun. I do recall being called out on my experience for talking about labour issues even though I am a mere PPL. If some feel my opinion is worthless because I never flew for money that's ok. As you say other can pay enough attention to decide if I have a point, am trolling or just asking questions. Then decide if the idea in that post is valuable or spammy.

Hey, I've been told on AvCan that both
of my ATP's are worthless, so don't
sweat it.
Remember, aircraft can't read!
Some of the best pilots I know, don't
have any paper.
And some of the worst pilots I know,
have plenty of it.

So I have made the following groups
SPP
PPL
CPL
ATPL
You must join the group.
So go to
-Profile
--Modify Profile
---Membergroups
Click to join whichever group you identify with, you know just like when you use the washroom.
You can only identify with one group at a time and that is what will be displayed until you leave that group and join another. Or as in the spirit of this site you just don't care do nothing and you're good.
