I figure we need some sort of partnership to afford this. Air shows here we come.

The flight back across the North Atlantic from Europe can be a little sporty.
Freddy flew a Spad back from France. From Greenland at 100 feet to stay under icing in cloud. State department had a cow.
Weirdly he was range limited by oil consumption. Didn't have time to rig up a wobble pump.
Two other friends of mine flew an AN-2 back from Poland. Again, quite a trip across the North Atlantic.
Transport went bananas. The litigation was legendary. That was that crazy Inspector Peggy something
(I think she had the hots for Brad) who called me up cold in Ontario from Nova Scotia, and told me that
if I ever flew to Nova Scotia, she would have me charged. With what, I do not know. I have never since
flown to the East Coast of the People's Republic of Canada, and I never will again, as long as I live.
I remember my Dad's buddies flying Sabres across the North Atlantic. Bluie West and all that. Respect.

Why don't you fly to Nova Scotia, have a picture taken with a finger on each hand giving a message and send it to her.Colonel wrote: Sun Jan 28, 2024 6:14 pm That was that crazy Inspector Peggy something

Nova Scotia? Does he have skis?
They have been digging out of snow for a while now, I don’t think they are done yet.

I'm probably more likely to go to Palo Alto ... there's a guy with a T-6G that's been bugging me to go flying.

It would be a fantastic airplane if it were 2,000 lbs lighter. Hey, does anyone make a T-6 out of carbon fiber?
