If you are close to the ground and the flight vector is pointing down you are doing it wrong…..

I don’t mean flight vector by where the green dot is I mean what the flight path of the airplane is.

If you are flying close to the ground you had better know what direction the flight path of the airplane is by looking outside.

Watching the video the flight path of the aircraft was on a downward line pretty much from the start. Do that long enough and you hit the ground….

Yikes appears as if he only damaged the fibreglass tip. Couple inches more and game over.

Don’t forget that the spar attach probably also felt that, multiplied by the arm out to the wingtip. My gut says we’ll see this plane again in the future but I hope I’m wrong.
