Those New York controllers have no chill. Last summer I heard LGA tower go off on a Spirit flight for I guess not reading their minds on landing. CA and I just looked at each other like, “So exit by Romeo or die trying, then?”

I just kind of stay in my lane with those guys. They have enough on their plates, like trying to get a VFR Cessna to not fly into us inside a cloud while some woman was relentlessly yelling at the pilot in the background.

Having flown both in combat and VFR near major airports (class B), I’d take combat…
Just last night leaving MCO an exasperated controller was giving a climb clearance to AA flight only to stop mid sentence to say “what is he doing?” Speaking about a VFR target… he had to then vector AA off the SID and climb him.
