Yesterday Jetblue made an offer to acquire Spirit Airlines.

Currently Spirit and Frontier Airlines have announced a merger, making them the 5th largest airline in the US, and largest ULCC in North America. Synergies, more jobs and bullshit talking points…

As a shareholder of Spirit, the Frontier deal would net me 1.93838484 shares of the new company + $2.13 per outstanding share. Frontier’s closing share price is $11.92 (April 5th).

Jetblue deal would be $33/share. Total acquisition.
