Stalls

It's all about the Angle of Attack of the wing.

If there was one thing I could teach people about stalls:

CONTROL YAW WITH YOUR FEET

Amazing how when things go to sh1t, letting go of the stick
and allowing the aircraft to recover, works so well.

PS Differential thrust works amazingly for yaw, but I think those
days (20th century) are gone forever. Piston/prop twins are forever
to be known as "fire breathing dragons".

Spencer is great at these videos.

Accellerated / Snap roll shown here at 1:24 or so..
also the mythical 2 pointer.

I think if you can safely do a snap roll you really have finally understood and mastered your wing.

Inside and outside 1/2 snaps - at gentle speeds, to avoid high torsional loads -
are really quite fun.

For example, do a 1/2 cuban-8. On the inverted 45, do a 1/2 outside snap upright!

Nothing snap rolls better than a Pitts S-1! Gene Soucy used to do snap rolls on
final to kill airspeed, back when he and Tom and Charlie flew the three red Pitts.

No constant speed prop for drag, so ...
