Absolutely, India has had women pilots for a while.

Still, I can't help but think of the one that was flying with the padded logbook and landing the passenger jet flat, until she broke the nose wheels.

That's just silly to think that.

I am well aware of their customary, "Why waste time earning a license when you can just buy one?" Not just for airplanes.
