Is this the 2 L. 300 ponies Impreza ?

Hmmm... Don't think my Legacy can do that.

His 2011 lap had an amazing moment, which he referred to in that video. Skip to the end of this one:

Amazing recovery. Well over 100 MPH, full lock each way, on and off the pedals...

I believe Subaru sent two cars this year - One stock-ish 300 HP STi and one extremely un-stock 600 HP STi.

That's my `normal ride --- STI but obviously not stock in the vid but it didn't seem he had a sequential gear box -- it would be the 2.5L and likely pushing at least 400 hp which can be easily achieved with a turbo back exhaust, different down pipe, air box and a tuning module. Even my stock STI will get the heart rate going -- Damn Colonel and I am doing my road trip past Ottawa next week in my old 99 Ford SD diesel but I will be towing my latest toy - 10' 140 hp mini jetboat and looking for white water >:D

Now the latest addition certainly had the sequential doglock gearbox with the addition of the paddle shifters -- that's what I have wet dreams about but 20 just for a xmission is pretty steep for a street guy.
