"Engine fire drill" #16 -- one thing about the Russians, lots of manpower and just keep throwing engines at it until it flew-

That's exactly what they did with their Moon rocket. The USA figured out how to do it with 5 Engines on the Saturn V the Soviets couldn't quiet perfect it causing some awesome explosions.
Then came up with this 30 engine beast!
and yet still made some awesome explosions.
