How realistic is that?  Cool idea, but what would the fuel penalty be? Or disruption of the airflow to the rudder?  Genuine question.

Hell of an expensive mod for very little return, maybe on some Sheikhs private jet......

not sure about the fuel penalty or disruption of airflow to the rudder but  can't be that bad, check out the satellite domes on some of the passenger Boeings out there.
