When was the last time you flew as the sole occupant of your aircraft?
This morning.

Probably around half of my flights are sole occupant.

A depressingly high percentage of my flights are
dual given (tailwheel, aerobatic, instructor,
formation, jet, etc).

Gotta start cutting down on that.  Getting old.
Time for some other (younger) people to do that.

It would be nice to get my solo flights over 90%.

-- EDIT --

Just did another (solo) flight this afternoon.  Did
four circuits in 0.5, 2 one-wheel, 1 wheel, 1 grass
(used half of 1200 foot strip, no brakes).  Did them
at 500 feet - feel free to drop a dime to Enforcement
on me.

I'm a pretty crappy pilot compared to most people -
I like to fly twice a day, to stay sharp.  Eight landings
today, solo.

On Saturday, did two joinups in a biplane on ex-mil
jet.  You know, no overtake speed, all vertical.  I'm
sure the four-bars could have done much better.

Speaking of solo flight. Its pretty cool when you do that first flight in a single seat plane. You've never flown a plane like that before and presto off you go. Kinda neat when you push the power forward and wonder what its gonna fly like and how the heck its going to land ;)

Strangely enough, I almost dislike solo flying.  I find it to be like riding a bike or watching a good movie alone.

It is always WAY more fun to share a flight with somebody else.  Particularily with someone who has never flown or who has never flown the type of aircraft or the type of flying you are doing.  I'm betting the Colonel enjoys it far more when he and Eric are trading landings.  Doesn't matter who is better that day, he still wins!

Solo is fine and I certainly don't hate it but good things are to share with people whose company you enjoy.  If you can teach, or learn, somethng at the same time, it's golden.

I flew my glider solo just last weekend... while solo flight is great, I find I always learn something when going up with someone else. There is always something done differently, something I might change in my own flying next time.

I've had dual flights that felt like duels, too.

This evening. My gal just finished up the annual, and had to break in that fresh oil!
