There are a very few, very simple things you need to do, to fly safely.

1) Look outside
2) Lower the nose

Many people will die - again - this year, because they think the above is stupid, like me.

I hope they make an amendment to their take off checklist. Maybe just before select full throttle.

Good point, and I guess this could happen to me.  [b]CIGARS[/b] calls for checking the sky but says nothing about looking at the runway.  I better get cameras on me ASAP, there could be YouTube gold waiting...

I'm going to guess you are like me and stow the physical take off checklist after the run up but... If you need a checklist to take off like the guy in the video might have, I recommend adding the extra bit.

I think i'd add one more line to the checklist:

"After colliding with objects on the runway: Retard Throttle."

Officially it's just a gues Slick so I won't edit my post but I'm confident you don't read a checklist while taking off.

As for the person running into the other plane in the video... I really wonder if they do.
