I was watching this guy flying in IMC when he gets a flaps icing warning. He extended the flaps anyway and I seem to recall that it's never a good idea to deploy flaps when you're picking up ice. Just curious about everyone's view on that?

I have a five second attention span because of the Internet and couldn't get through the video. Does he use the BRS?
