Lion Air tries another landing

Standard Lion Air Landing - looks like they're off the end instead of the side.

This is the Airline that has 2 over-runs at the same airport within 24 hours as part of its safety record.

Time to pull their AOC imho.

Remember, fundamental pilot skills like stick & rudder, and systems knowledge,
are unimportant to today's pushbutton aviator.  I know this is true, because they
keep telling me.

Ain’t that the truth?  Trying to explain that not knowing things can be terminal to a pilot has turned my hair grey way too early.

Oddly, many people are indifferent to things that can kill them, and they
care deeply about completely useless (but often very fashionable) nonsense.

That's ok, they just shouldn't be surprised when sh1t goes horribly wrong,
and I won't make sympathetic noises when it does.

Remember, no new causes of aviation accidents in 2019.

It may be all fine and good for you to be okay with these guys flying for money, but I often rely on them as a passenger.  Knowing some of the people I know, there’s one common enough domestic airline I avoid as it is.

No surprises - long landing about 2000' down an 7382' runway leaves only 5382' to stop on a wet runway.

Probably fast too - didn't see much in the way of deceleration in the video.

Pretty normal at Lion Air!

Boeing will need to increase the 737 production rate to keep up with these clowns!
