What was the nicest flying airplane?

For me it was the Turbo Commander 690B.

Call me weird but a 65hp Champ is the most pleasant flying and relaxing airplane I think I’ve flown.

The Extra 300 series have superb control harmony and power to weight ratio, just think it and it does it.
For sheer joy I love the J3 cub with the doors off on a hot day at 500ft puttering along.

From a very subjective standpoint, I would agree that the
Extra has the nicest ailerons I have ever experienced.  Not
sure it's the best all-round aircraft, though.
