I can relate. I was pissed that the bastards in security in Nova Sotia would not let me board with my comfort lobsters .....

If you really need your comfort lobsters you can eat them the day before the flight, then just before take off you can  deposit them on the seat next to you.

Well that really kills my plan of having emotional support full-size toothpaste in my carry on.  Far as I can tell the ceremonial nail clippers can stay for now.
