The future of aviation is unmanned( or probably un-personed to be PC) flight.


I fell a bit sad for the 20 year olds that are planning a career in the big show.

Autonomous as press a button and it takes off on its own ,navigates ,flights in a straight line or orbit to refuel the fighters or some one on the ground will fly it ?

That's progress, I'm sure if you look back at the advances throughout history people sit back and shake their heads. I just bought a new truck with a manual transmission (ya dodge stills does that) and most react by saying "why would you do that" - I guess I'm just old fashioned -- oh ya my car is manual too and I just get a big shit eating grim every time I run them through the gears.
