There was an A-6 intruder modified to function as a re-fuel tanker.

One had a collision, the next day another had a collision that broke the canopy and knocked the navigator partially out of the plane. He had to ride back like Major Kong on top of the plane.

Quite the story.

If he was anything like most of the Navs I work with the pilot should have help him finish his exit. >:D
