ATAC is a lobby group to represent the interests of their member companies. For the most part, they push back against some of the less thought-out regulatory changes.

ATAC does anyone here know what function they serve in aviation?
-- they are the guys who make it legal to run pilot 24/7 and 28 hours a day -- just look at the present CARS (especially 703) and that is there lobby at work -- strictly commercial perspective and safety is a long way down their list ( but they would never admit to that)
