Difficult runways.

There are a lot of discussions about difficult runways.

But even more difficult is operating with no runways.

The best off runway airplane in my own opinion was the DC3.

It was incredible for off airport flying both on wheels in the summer and wheel skis in the winter.

I liked it way better than the Twin Otter or the Super Cub.

Bet the turbine version must be really cool to operate

The turbine version might be "cool" but it is the ugly sister of a true lady. It isn't nearly as pleasant to fly.

Hey LC, do you know the funny story behind this BT-67?
