So why did TC in their infinite wisdom just send me a new ADB?
I've note changed any licenses or ratings, medical still valid - old one expired in 2020, new one expires in 2025. Everything else looks the same - so now I have 2 booklets and licenses!

TC claims it reduces the time and cost in the issuance of the booklet

I'm guessing they somehow realized five year expiry was silly once passports switched to a ten year option. I must admit I was suprised they sent new ones instead of making you wait until your existing one expired.

How far in advance of your expiry did they send it? I just dropped off my renewall application last week and haven't seen anything, although I've moved a few times and can't remember what address TC would have for me.

Yeah, it doesn't expire.  Like a night rating now.  After 50
years, we are now the same as the USA.

Doesn't make much difference to me.  I'm pretty sure I'm
on my last booklet.
