If I had >$50B I would have more than one airplane.

Jealousy is more bizarre than you realize. When we paid off my wife's house I wanted to have a big dinner at a restaurant to celebrate, but as it got close we ended up quietly taking her mom and my parents out because they had paid their homes off too and were actually happy for us.

If only I had a couple of bucks for every time I heard, "It must be nice."

Wrap your head around that. People being jealous of a bum like me because I live in a house and don't have a mortgage.

The older I get, the less I understand about
all the weird shit that goes on around me.

PS  They had guns.

Cessna 185 on floats for trips up to the lake and a Supercub for smashing bugs.

I guess i've already got the plane that works best all-around for me... The RV-6.

But if money were no object, i'd be trying for an F-86.

Think I would have to strip the paint and have it polished aluminum

Barney's plane sure seems like a prime little machine. Hope it finds a good home.
